Tips to help read with ADHD

Here are some tips that can help you focus better while reading with ADHD: Read to learn, not to finish. Reading is about learning something and being able to use it to benefit yourself and those around you. Highlight or underline any passages in a book that stands out to you. If you don’t know the meaning of a word, look it up. Reduce distractions by finding a quiet place to read or using white noise if you need it. Take breaks during reading sessions to beat time management and focus challenges. Consider active reading by asking questions while reading and taking notes. Read aloud instead of silently as this may help you focus on each word. Walk or pace around while you read to avoid zoning out or focusing on internal distractions. Use audiobooks or text-to-speech software if you find it difficult to read. I hope these tips help you focus better while reading with ADHD!
